As the title of today’s post clearly states, getting your cat to stop scratching up your furniture, couches, chairs, etc… is hard work. Not only do cats have it in their DNA to scratch anything and everything that looks like a tree (or whatever they scratch in nature), but they’ve got to do it all the time!

Our cat Jinx used to scratch our couches every day while we were sitting in the living room watching TV. We would clap our hands, yell “stop”, or anything that we could think of to make her stop. Nothing worked for long. We also tried a squirt gun, but she just got a little more discreet about her scratching.

So we went out one Sunday and started looking at cat scratching posts. I hadn’t looked at these in awhile, but dang! – they were expensive. $100 or more for a piece of wood covered in carpet… I don’t think so. Yeah, there is more than that when it comes to building one of these scratching posts, but I just can’t see our family spending that type of money on such a simple thing.

We left Pet’s Mart a little disappointed. Our initial goal was to go out and find some type of solution to our cat’s scratching up our furniture. But all we left with was just another item checked off our list.

When we got home, my husband go on the Internet and started looking around. He’s sort of the techie type and I figured that he would probably find something on there to fix this headache.

Hours later, he came to me telling me about this thing called the Emery Cat. It’s basically a horizontal scratching post made from emery board. It had some really good reviews on the Internet and we figured it was worth a try.

Thanks to my husband, we are now going to finally solve this problem that has literally been tearing our household apart.

Cats are one of the many common domestic house pets that most people have. Cats come in different breeds just like dogs. More importantly, having a cat or any other pet at home would mean extra care and attention on your part. You will have to make sure that you meet the needs of your pet. It’s pretty much similar to having a baby. You have to feed them, give them a bath and make sure that they are always healthy.

Cats generally have a sweet temperament which makes them suitable for those people who need to have company. Although cats always want to get attention they are good companions and can make you feel like you have good company.

One of the problems that most pet owners have to deal with cat is their scratching. Their claws are really sharp and can destroy the wooden furniture that you have at home. Cats have this propensity to scratch on the wooden surface to stretch their legs. Just imagine your expensive wooden furniture going down the drain because it has cat scratches.

The scratching of cats is a natural habit that cannot be stopped. They will return and scratch the pieces of wood in their environment be it trees, couch or other things. The primary reason for doing this is that they want others to know where they are and what they are up to. Another thing is that scratching helps in sharpening their claws.

Cutting their claws is a good idea to solve this problem. But cutting them yourself using a nail cutter or the likes may also hurt your cat if not properly done. It may also be difficult for you. This is where scratchboards like Emery Cat come in.

The product is a scratchboard that may solve a cat owner’s issues with his/her cat’s scratching. This acts like an alternative scratching post for your cat. It has a honeycomb surface that acts like a nail file and trims the claws of your cats. It also reduces the sharpness of the claws which in turn reduces its effects on the furniture.

One can buy the Emery Cat Deluxe from any stores both online and local stores. Many have probably seen the commercial in TV. The pack already includes the scratcher, and the catnip. The product promises your cat’s nails to be trimmed easily. This can also be a perfect tool for your cat’s stretching and scratching needs. Another thing with this scratching board is that you can buy an Emery Cat Refill just in case the board becomes too used up.

But, this question always arises: Does Emery Cat work? Well, it does and it doesn’t. There are cats that just love the Emery Cat and there are also others who are scared of using it. The good thing is there are a lot of reviews online that can help you decide before purchasing this product.

Cats are very good companions. They have a sweet and playful nature that can help in cheering up people. They are also good for people who like to stay at home since cats like it indoors.

But, one may also have problems with cats. A cat owner might find himself in a scratchy situation. Cats have this innate habit to scratch. Scratching is a normal thing for cats and this cannot be stopped. Scratching helps in sharpening the cat’s claws. Another thing is that it is also lets the cat give a sign that they have been there. By scratching, they leave their scent on the scratched area.

This scratching habit may cause problems when the cat scratches the furniture at home. You may see your couch ripped to pieces once you get home. The legs of your tables might also have scratches on them. This would mean that you have to change your couch or have them fixed. This also means more expenses on your part.

This is why a lot of cat owners have resorted to various ways of trimming their cats’ claws. One of the most common things that cat owners do is trimming the claws by using a claw cutter or a nail cutter. You just trim the nails as you would with your nail. Although this might be a logical thing to do, this can cause a lot of pain to the cat if not properly done.

This is why there have been a lot of other options in claw trimming that are being offered in the market. There are also scratching posts that give the cat a post of her own where she can scratch and leave the other furniture safe. One of the equipment that acts as both is the Emery Cat. You may have seen this from the Emery Cat commercial on TV.

The Emery Cat is a scratching board that helps in trimming the cat’s claws. Now your cat can trim their own claws all by themself. They can even do this while playing. The good thing about the product is that is perfect for scratching and for stretching. The scratching board is made from honeycomb that acts like that of a nail file. The cat can just file her claws while playing and yet she does not even realize it.

The Emery Cat deluxe can be bought anywhere. You can directly purchase it from their website or from the local store. This comes in a pack with the catnip and the filing board. If you are thinking of getting the product, you might as well purchase the Emery Cat refill. This is the extra board that can be used in replacing the older board once it is already too used and worn out.

You may want to try and read the reviews online to help you in answering the question: Does Emery Cat work? A lot of people are sceptical about this and this it totally understandable. One would not want to buy something that does not work.

Cats are one of the most adored animals on earth and are perfect as domestic pets. Cats are playful and sweet. They are also the most common domestic animal. Cats can make a good company for a lot of people. They are playful and have a very sweet temperament. They also are very good natured making them as very suitable companions.

But like any other pets, you may also encounter some problems with cats. One of the major problems that most cat owners encounter is that cats scratch so much. This is a natural habit that cats do. This is so they can sharpen their claws and also give a signal that they were there. Even if this is the case, this scratching habit can pose problems especially when your cat scratches your furniture at home. A bigger problem is when you have expensive furniture and your cat scratched them all.

In order to prevent this problem, cat owners can also opt to trim their pets’ claws. The usual declawing process involves using a claw cutter to cut the nails. This can be difficult and painful for your cat since there are nerves that are close in the claws when it is cut. This can also be hard for you to pin the cat down.

But, there have been some equipment that has been used in preventing cats from clawing your furniture. These are scratching posts. There are a whole lot more of other equipment. The Emery Cat is one of those that are sold in the market that promises to help in trimming your cat’s claws.

You may have probably seen the commercial on TV. The Emery Cat is actually a scratching board that is designed to work like a nail file. This scratching board is made of honeycomb that is designed to reduce the sharpness of the cat’s claws. Instead of you having to cut the nails by yourself, your cat can now trim her own claws even while playing.

The board can be placed with catnip which makes it irresistible for cats. They will get attracted to it and to the Emery Cat, which means their claws will be filed and trimmed.

The Emery Cat deluxe can be brought from leading stores and also from online shops. You can also directly order from their website. After using the product, you may also need to replace the board regularly so make sure that you already have a refill. This is to make sure that you have new boards just in case the board gets worn out.

There has been a lot of scepticism about the product. A lot of people ask: Does It work? Well, truth be told, it does. But, this is a case-to-case basis. For most cat owners, their cat liked this scratching board and used it ever so often. This helped them in preventing the cats from scratching their furniture. Other cats just don’t like the Emery Cat. Some cats just can’t figure out how to use it and are scared of the equipment. Nevertheless, make sure that you read the Emery Cat reviews online to make sure you know how you should use this.

NOTE: Please don’t think I’m a mad-woman when you read what I’m about to say. To be honest, I’ve been a cat lover all of my life. But…

I was about to get rid of both cats that day. I got off work that and the first thing I saw were the arms of my couches ripped to shreds . I got really fed up with the fact that my cats were always using my couch as a scratching post. That was until I checked out the Emery Cat.

Learn more About It…

For all of you who have a cat and are experiencing the same situation, here is my story.

About one month ago I told my friend about my problem in passing. She also has cats and she usually gives me great advice when I’m having trouble with them. I thought that she was going to recommend something like a scratching post (already tried one of those and the cats don’t use it), but what she said was unexpected. She told me about this brand new product (I think it came out last year) called Emery Cat. She told me that her cats were loving it and that they actually seemed to like using it.

A Little Skeptical About Emery Cat?

I was a little skeptical so I asked how exactly it worked. She said that the top of the product has some type of a honey comb design and underneath that is a nail file of sorts. When a cat uses it, the cat will begin scratching at it like it would any other scratching post. What makes this product different from scratching posts is that it is designed to file down the cat’s claws as they use it.

But Cats Love It

I then asked her something as it popped into my head. My cats are pretty picky with their toys so why would they use it? She laughed a little and agreed that her cats are the same way. But then she told me about how it has cat nip infused in it to get your cat used to using it.

I hope that you learned something from my experience and consider getting the Emery Cat board. It really is the best way to naturally file down your cats claws.

Read any any good Emery Cat reviews? I did and decided to get the Emery Cat scratching board for my cats. I’m actually pretty relieved that I made this investment because now I don’t have to worry about my new couches getting scratched on.

As many of you know, ever since my son moved away to college, it has been very difficult for me to trim my cat’s nails. He used to hold Jinx (my grey and white cat) and I would trim her claws. Now that my son is gone, I haven’t been able to trim any of my 3 cat’s claws.

When I saw the commercial on TV I was a bit skeptical, but I decided to go online and do some research before ordering. (here is the link to the website I purchased through – www.GetTheEmeryCat.com) The Emery Cat arrived shortly after and I put it together on a Monday before work.

First off, let’s just say that Jinx is always really cautious and doesn’t like to play with new toys. Right after I got the Emery Cat put together, I set it next to the couch and sprinkled a little cat nip over it (which comes with the product). A few minutes later, Jinx ran over to the scratcher and started sniffing it. She then walked onto it and began scratching it – YEAH – No more torn up couches.

My other cats were quick to kick Jinx off of the Emery scratcher so that they could see what all the fuss was about. They seem to all get along for the most part and take turns, but I am considering buying another one…

Everything You Need To Know About Emery Cat

You should read this emery cat review if you are interested in buying because I have been very disappointed by similar cat scratchers in the past.

Owning a cat can be both a great experience and also a bad one at the same time. There is nothing like having a loving cat, but it can be a nightmare when your furniture is always at risk of being destroyed. Luckily, there is something called the emery cat scratcher.

So what can you do to solve this constant headache that causes grief to you and everyother cat owner?

See How You Can Get The Emery Cat For Even Cheaper

Get the emery cat scratcher! It is a patented scratching board infused with catnip to attract your kitty towards it. The emery cat scratcher will have your cat both entertained for hours upon hours. And you’ll be extremely happy with the fact that the emery cat scratcher will perfectly trim your cat’s claws without you ever having to pick up a pair of trimmers again.

Emery cat is designed with a honeycomb surface that acts like a high tech nail file for your cat’s claws. When your kitty scratches on the emery cat scratcher, their nails become more and more blunt. It is actually very similar to the nail files that we humans use.

The emery cat is also very easy to store just about anywhere, making it a must have for any home with a cat. If you want to protect your furniture then the only decision in your book should be to get an emery cat scratcher.

Learn more about the emery cat scratcher…

I really hated trimming my cat’s claws by hand and so I found the Emery Cat Scratcher Board – this is my review. Long story short, it works! We cat owners all want an easy way to trim our cat’s claws while still treating our cats fairly.

There is a new product in the cat world called the Emery Cat board. This device is a completely hands off way for you to trim your cat’s claws. The best part… No more mean kitty while you try to do it the old fashioned way. Trimming your cat’s claws with a hand clipper will likely damage your cat’s claws and you will likely get bit and scratched in the process.

The Emery Cat Scratching Board includes:

In this Emery Cat scratcher review I want to explain exactly what the grooming scratcher does. The Emery Cat Board has a pretty neat honeycomb surface that acts kind of like a nail file (but for cats of course). The board is designed to gently file away at your cat’s claws and in turn it takes away the sharpness of the claws.

When I first saw it, I thought there was about a 50-50 chance that my cat would actually step up onto the thing. However, the neat thing about the board is that it has catnip in it. This of course makes your cat naturally attracted to scratch it.

If you think about it, this is really a win-win for both you and your cat. Your cat gets to scratch and you save both time and money on furniture and other expensive household items.

You can get the Emery Cat Board Scratcher through this site for only $19.95. It is really a deal because most cat scratching posts I have bought in the past are $50 and up.

With the Emery Cat Scratcher you will:

Save hours of frustration trying to trim your cat’s claws the old fashioned way.

Keep your cat healthy and feeling great.

Save hundreds of dollars on would be damaged furniture.

Save your family from getting painful scratches!
