Emery Cat – A Natural Nail File For Indoor Cats?

I was about to get rid of both cats that day. I got off work that and the first thing I saw were the arms of my couches ripped to shreds 
. I got really fed up with the fact that my cats were always using my couch as a scratching post. That was until I checked out the Emery Cat.
For all of you who have a cat and are experiencing the same situation, here is my story.
About one month ago I told my friend about my problem in passing. She also has cats and she usually gives me great advice when I’m having trouble with them. I thought that she was going to recommend something like a scratching post (already tried one of those and the cats don’t use it), but what she said was unexpected. She told me about this brand new product (I think it came out last year) called Emery Cat. She told me that her cats were loving it and that they actually seemed to like using it.
A Little Skeptical About Emery Cat?
I was a little skeptical so I asked how exactly it worked. She said that the top of the product has some type of a honey comb design and underneath that is a nail file of sorts. When a cat uses it, the cat will begin scratching at it like it would any other scratching post. What makes this product different from scratching posts is that it is designed to file down the cat’s claws as they use it.
But Cats Love It
I then asked her something as it popped into my head. My cats are pretty picky with their toys so why would they use it? She laughed a little and agreed that her cats are the same way. But then she told me about how it has cat nip infused in it to get your cat used to using it.
I hope that you learned something from my experience and consider getting the Emery Cat board. It really is the best way to naturally file down your cats claws.

Read any any good Emery Cat reviews? I did and decided to get the Emery Cat scratching board for my cats. I’m actually pretty relieved that I made this investment because now I don’t have to worry about my new couches getting scratched on.
As many of you know, ever since my son moved away to college, it has been very difficult for me to trim my cat’s nails. He used to hold Jinx (my grey and white cat) and I would trim her claws. Now that my son is gone, I haven’t been able to trim any of my 3 cat’s claws.

First off, let’s just say that Jinx is always really cautious and doesn’t like to play with new toys. Right after I got the Emery Cat put together, I set it next to the couch and sprinkled a little cat nip over it (which comes with the product). A few minutes later, Jinx ran over to the scratcher and started sniffing it. She then walked onto it and began scratching it – YEAH – No more torn up couches.
My other cats were quick to kick Jinx off of the Emery scratcher so that they could see what all the fuss was about. They seem to all get along for the most part and take turns, but I am considering buying another one…
